Volunteer

Help charities raise funds or join a research advisory group (see links).  Anyone who has experience of caring for a patient or is living with a neurological disease, may wish to support others by sharing their personal experiences.

Research helps us to discover new treatments and to improve health services. To find out about studies close to where you live 

Shape research

Become a member of a Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) panel to inform and shape the research into a certain field. The purpose of PPI groups is to bring together those affected by a disease to inform research and to ensure research is relevant to patients' and carer's needs.

SITraN hosts PPI groups for MND, dementia and Parkinson's which meet on a quarterly basis and stay in contact via email.
